our Mission
Launch Canada’s mission is to support and advance the science, engineering, and business of aerospace and rocketry in Canada, and to use the excitement of rocketry to create unprecedented hands-on learning experiences for students that provide them with unmatched real-world engineering experience. We bring together Canada’s rapidly growing student rocketry community with academia, industry, and government. Our goal is to unlock the full innovative potential of students, showcase Canadian excellence, and expand international collaboration in this cutting-edge field.
Grassroots rocketry
From Goddard to von Braun-grassroots rocketry has shaped the space industry from the beginning. As we witness a resurgence of amateur rocketry, Canadian students aren’t holding back. Not only are they developing sophisticated launch vehicles and rocket competitions. It’s time we helped them to take their passion to the next level.
